No score at all would’ve been better. Make that the director’s cut. It sounded like something made for a movie called “Down Home Crawdaddy” about a diner waitress who wins the heart of the local bachelor over the objections of his rich parents.
There’s a quick cut of two people on Sima and Pops’ farm then no mention or follow up to what that was. Did I miss something? I literally want to sit in the seat until the next showing to figure out what is going on. The raid doesn’t happen for a few more days so these were scouts? Did I hallucinate this? After we see them on the farm, there’s couple quiet nights snuggling under the stars and then the raid. The raid itself does not appear as though they knew about the farm. Just casually riding horses in and then see Hig is how it is portrayed. I guess this was some sort of foreshadowing but it should’ve probably happened THAT night.
